Following 5 successful years working as an independent builders’ merchant, Mike Maltby, Owner and Director of HU5 Merchanting has recently launched a new venture – The Connector Centre. Based in Hull, the new business is aiming its sights locally on fulfilling the demands of local building companies.
Specialising in builders metalwork, timber engineering and fencing supplies, the Connector Centre is uniquely positioned to be able to deliver in the region, at short notice and without long waiting times.
“I am very excited to be launching this unique new venture in Hull” said Mike. I will be able to deliver a wide range of excellent quality specialised building materials for a variety of different projects all happening locally. This business gives me a unique insight into a multitude of different businesses in our area, who all want the same thing; good quality, reliable products and quick delivery with good service.”
“Before setting up the Connector Centre, I saw a definite upturn in the requests for new types of products. It seemed sensible for me to expand and develop a company that could deliver what my clients want.”
As an independent merchant Mike has developed an excellent and well-established reputation for the service that he provides. He hopes that this new venture will provide many opportunities to work with more local clients and provide them with the products and services they require.
